Now, I know that apart from my chatting with Retroman, no one really posts in this forum. However, I do see the views of the different topics slowly and steadily growing.

This means that on some level, posts are being read. Since I have no formal blog, I'll use this forum to that end.

Right. Now to the point.

So my brother in law recently came across a computer with a few vital pieces missing. He was able to combine this mystery machine (computer not van) with pieces from other computers to make a decent frankencomputer.

On a side note, this is the first time I have ever had a wide screen moniter. It's pretty sweet.

I have just experienced a great irony. On my old machine, I clung so hard to a long list of pointless bookmarks that I could not let go. Now I am enjoying starting from scratch.

It's especcially nice because he put it together himself. That means AOL didn't sponser him for AD space, nor did any other irritating company. Therefore I didn't have to deal with any "INSTALL ME FOR FREE MUZIKS!" type .exe files on my desktop. It's a completely clean slate. I love it.

I remember this. Since posting this I ended up getting a brand new PC. That was a little over a year ago. Good times.
