Some of the best freeware games I have played have been from suggestions from viewers. I thought I would make this topic for anyone to recommend any freeware games you would like to see an episode about. Thanks! |

Spelunky is a great freeware game. I'm sure you're aware of it. What adds to the fun is that the game comes with a level editor.
You should give it a whirl if you haven't played it before.
I could even send you a couple of levels that I've designed if you're ever interested. |

Acutally I have never heard of Spelunky. I was able to find it on google. It looks kinda like a cross between Jetpack and Lemings. I have downloaded it. I'll try it in a few. |

Dude I just tried spelunky. Gooood game. There is definitely a good episode in there. This just goes to show, no matter how much research you do, the best freeware games are the ones people tell you about.
So you made some levels? It would be cool to play em. Wanna send em over?

I played a game this morning called Genetos. It's the greatest shmup I have ever played. A must play.
Basicly the idea is, you start playing a space invaders style game and as you progress it looks more and more modern, until you get to the end, which looks breathtaking.

Incidently, Indiegames.com released it's list of top freeware shoot em up games for 2009. Genetos was picked for number 2.
