I just had to make this the first post of the year on the off-topic board of this forum
An adaptation of the Berserk manga is getting an animation adaption but not just any animation adaption, it is getting a movie adaptation. I cannot wait to see what they will do with this. I just hope that these movies continue where the japanese animated series left off at because I don't want to have the first movie just be a better looking adaptation of the original japanese animated series. Man, first Evangelion gets a movie adaptation then Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is ending with a theatrical movie and now this. I think that japanese animated series are dying out in favor of japanese animated movies but I hope that does not happen.
