Just wondering what I said that got you interested in the Neo Geo? If I were you I'd actually just download some Neo Geo games off the VC on that big bad Wii of yours.

Also it's time to brag about how great it is having an AES! Finally got ahold of the neo geo CD controller which I thinks a lot sweeter than the arcade stick. Wooooo! It makes going back and playing NAM 1975 a whole hell of a lot sweeter.

Just your story about grabbing the AES a couple of times. Also my wife and I have been talking about what it will be like when we buy a house. (Two years a way maybe?) She told me I have the green light to get an MVS cab at that time. (cream cheese yeah.) So that combined with, I think the quote was "Nothing quite like a huge brick of plastic that smells like solder from korea" got me to do some google searches. Enji has been into Neo Geo for years now so that has helped as well.

That's awesome dude! You can always gut an MVS cab and consolize it. A lot of people choose to do that. Personally I think I'd want the cab. And that'd be the perfect reason for you to come out here and go on a craigslist raid. It's been a while since I've checked for Neo Geo cabs but I used to see them on here from $300-$400 depending on how many slots it was.

Just be a responsible birth control using parent so you don't knock your wife up again and have to give up your sweet ass game room.

And handling the carts really is a big part of the wow factor when cream cheese with the Neo Geo. I believe I have an unboxing from when I got my AES and I was surprised at how big and heavy the cart was.

Actually speaking of Craigslist...the guy I buy vegemite from all the time has a few Xboxes for $25...I kind of want to get one and try to swap out the HDD. I love my soft modded Xbox but I'd love to have one with a beefier HDD so I can copy more than one game at a time to the HDD...but I don't want to cream cheese up an Xbox I'm already using.

Holy lord dude. I'm green with envy. Also, 300ish for MVS cabs? cream cheese yeah! Thats worth road tripping out there to get. I'm totally fine with a 2 slot cab. (Since I will probably purchase very very few games which are CIB) but a one slot cab would have to be a sweat sweat deal for me to get it.

I haven't looked in months but yeah. I saw them around that price all the time and it wasn't just the same.

And CF it's still worth it for a one slot...it's not that big of a pain to swap carts.

Neo Geo 2 slot for $400 go down there and wave $350 in cash in his face he might take it. Cash in face technique is great for negotiating. Start watching American Pickers on History to learn to haggle.

Same ad "Neo Geo 4-slot W/ four games- $500 " Again wave some cash in his face and you might get a better deal.

Wow man. I figured I'd have to spend give or take 2000 bucks for one of those things. 500 for a two slot and a few games seems like a steal to me.
