I know why I haven't been able to host a game. It's because I'm on a router.

Basically what has been happening is this. I would start a server using doomseeker and I had it all figured out. I knew how to change the map rotation, I knew how to make it shotgun only or not, set frag limits, add bots if we wanted, kick/ban people, set a password, all that good stuff. The trouble is, the server would not appear in the list of servers on doomseeker. Apparently, if you are using a router, you need to get into your router settings and mess with it to get it to work. I haven't figured that part out yet, but at least now I know why it hasn't been working all this time.
