I just watched the video and that looks really nice! Also, I had a nostalgic moment there when you mentioned Click & Play. Back when I was a teenager living in Wisconsin, my friends and I used to make games using Click & Play. We never tried anything complicated like an RPG, just platformers since those are super easy to make with Click & Play. I even got the upgraded versions: Click & Create and Multimedia Fusion. I think the company that makes those still makes similar programs, but I don't know if any of them are as good as RPG Maker. _________________ I call upon Cardassians everywhere. Resist. I would love to own a copy of Multi-Media Fusion. I'm going the cheap route and learning Game Maker. I really liked making games with Klik and Play back in the day as well. Enji and I used to make tons of little pointless games. I had about 4 different break out clones, a tank battle game, and a couple other games. Enji had a few cool ones as well. We were even lucky enough to acquire The Games Factory which worked almost exactly like KnP but it was upgraded in a lot of ways. The big complaint about KnP was that there was no real way to make a scrolling game. *sigh* Enji was able to make a scrolling game with Games Factory called "Gun Car" which we had a blast playing. But unfortunately the demo of GF doesn't let you make a game disk, so that game eventually was lost.
I also remember scrounging the internet for other KnP sites. Enji and I had a HUGE collection of different games we found. Some were cool, but most were awful. That was back in the days of 56k and AOL so we needed something to do while we waited for huge files to download. Good good times. |

Played it, Actually has more quality than a chunk of RPGs that are sold in stores.
Although I died a little too quick but I think thats got more to do with me getting used to the system.
It also reminds me much of the original suidoken. |

I like the game but I do not like the text font. Any plans for a sequel? _________________ Sadly I think I've lost this avatar's image file |

I know there will be an updated longer version of Kolteka. I would love to do a sequel one day, but I got a few similar RPG games that are half done. If I ever did a sequel, it would feature two selectable characters to pick from. That's all Enji and I can remember from the Kolteka 2 that he made years ago.
Also, are you having font issues? I know Rpg Maker 2000 displays an ugly half-readable font when you first install it, but there is a quick fix patch that can take care of that. |

One thing that you might wanna change is the save function. It does not give you the "are you sure" question even if you are over righting from a new game. It is faster but it makes it to easier to save over someone elses file by mistake. Other than that I liked it, also my older brother likes the music in the game _________________ Sadly I think I've lost this avatar's image file |
