It is tough to build a community, especially in this day and age of Facebook and Twitter. Sadly, it does seem that forums, as we know them, are coming entering their twilight years.
I would be interested in seeing if there was a forum platform that uses the Disqus protocol. There are a ton of members in that area and it seems that it would be beneficial to have a forum, like we know them, run on that membership platform.
