Do you use mods? Do you play with just the key board? have you changed it to play with WASD and mouse? Can you jump? Can you look up and down? Are you more traditional than that? (not just on Doom Night) everyone share what there used to.

P.S. do not hate me I am new to this.

Good question man. Well, Skulltag seems to work a lot like quake. My method of choice, first I enter the console by pressing the "~" key, then I input this command. "+mlook" That enables mouse look. Then I set the left and right keys to strafe left and right rather than turn left and right. That gives me a good mouse and arrow key combo. I feel that gives me the best control. WASD would probably work really well but I just could never get used to that. Not even back when I used to play a lot of counterstrike.

Oh yeah, Skulltag does feature a jump command. I bound the 0 key on the keypad to do that. It seems to work well for me that way.

I go back and forth between the ZDoom and Doom Legacy source ports. Skulltag is actually based on ZDoom so the two are generally compatible. ZDoom has been updated a lot more than Legacy and so it has more options for new weapons and new enemies.

As for how I play, I use the mouse for aiming and actually use ZXCS instead of WASD for strafing/movement. Both ZDoom & Legacy feature jumping, but ZDoom actually features a crouch command too. It's odd since Doom was not originally designed to have either and so the crouching looks goofy. to other players.
