I agree we need more atari high score contests.
Also, cream cheese it just make the monstercasts episode #50 the big 5 0.
I wanna put a Mudkip in a blender. (Torchick for life assholes.)
I also want magikarp and chips.
As for the atari high score challenge, I want to see 2. The normal one and a special adults only edition. (Doesnt have to be porn games, could also include the horror & Deathrace games.) |

Ironically, I think I was the one who used bad words in this episode.
Also, as for high scores, I am right there with you. I'll get a new one going for the next episode. In the meantime, The Retro League has one going for Rollerball for the NES. Here is the link:

Great episode, #49, I enjoyed it and it really showcased the style of CF and TCR that got me into the show in the first place. Just having fun, talking about stuff and enjoying the time.
Dhalamar, I have listened to your show, a couple of episodes. I can't say that I remember it really. Though, honestly, I listen to about 34 hours of podcasts a week (everything from math, science, to paranormal to gaming). I am going to grab some newer episodes and check them out ASAP though. _________________ <img src="http://www.gamersgate.com/ggtagi/2557041" width="225" height="198" border="0" alt="GG Tag"> |

Oh, and some more games that came out for both the NES and 2600 are Rampage, Ikari Warriors Kung Fu (Kung Fu Master on the 2600), Popeye and Burgertime. |
Doubles? cream cheese yeah! I have combat space invaders and pacman, but I would still trade up because the labels on my copies are messed up. (Except Combat. My copy of combat is in great shape thanks to Hugues.)
Also, I forgot about those other NES/Atari 2600 games. (For the rest of you reading this, I am collecting games that are on the 2600 that are also on the NES like California Games or Spy Hunter.)
On an unrelated note, I have also had my eye on Smufs: Gargemells Castle. (The name was something like that.) Ever played that? Is it any good? |

The Smurfs seems like it'd be a neat platformer ... if I could get past the 2nd goddamn screen. I'm thinking it wants you to jump over the fence, but he can't jump far enough.
The theme song is damned good considering what hardware it's coming out of though, you don't hear too much in the way of in game music on the 2600 ... and the graphics are pretty sweet.
*EDIT* AH ... there's a double jump! Sneaky cream cheese ... _________________ http://www.wastedseconds.com

I love those cream colored Coleco carts for the Atari. I assume the rom is available on Atari Age? |
