Yeah. I listened to the episode this morning when I first saw it through my RSS Feed Subscription and was so excited to talk about it. Then I listened to it.
And I have to say, was pretty disappointed. Probably it's because DB has been out of the podcast or in specific terms the video game scene for so long as to why the podcast just sounded pretty dry and boring. I mean have you guys listened to it? About half of it was just them searching through Amazon and talking about building a computer.
But I don't know. After I listened to it, all the excitement for wanting to talk about it wore off because there was just nothing interesting to talk about in it. I mean the last episode they made in June was interesting because we have not heard DB in so long and we finally got an update to what was going on with talk of a revival of Gooch and The Dooshebag Radio after it was canceled so long ago. This episode however was about 4 months after that and was pretty much talking about the same thing that happened before but just a lot duller.
Maybe they can relaunch their podcast later in the Spring or Summer to what they said in the episode when they will have a stable time to record more episodes in a more scheduled manner and when DB starts playing more games to talk about with Gooch. So until then, I guess we will just have to wait and see while Gooch and The Dooshebag Radio are still on hiatus.
Damn, so many podcasts are on hiatus. BIIIIIIIG DICKS Cast ,or MCC since this forum keeps replacing the name with BIIIG DICKS, is on hiatus. Tiger Claw Radio is now a sporadic show. I guess all the podcasts that were weekly are now starting to become harder and harder to produce for the hosts. Can't blame them though. Everybody need to take a hiatus once in a while. |

it was less energetic but I didn't really mind. I couldn't really follow them on Classic L337 so just hearing them again after so long was enough for me _________________ Sadly I think I've lost this avatar's image file |

Yeah well I guess you are right. It was nice to hear them again and trust me, it was better than what happened with Classic L337.
However, it's just feels as if all the steam has been let out already and that this podcast just felt meaningless since they just repeated on what they said last time. Talk of Mass Effect 3 and status of their jobs or personal life we already knew.
Just hope that the next time we hear a podcast from them, they will have a scheduled podcasting plan with releasing episodes on some kind of consistency and talk about video games they actually played.
Also a couple of consistent episodes under G and DB's belt might help them get back into the groove of making the podcast after not making a normal episode since April of 2011. Well, I hope so. |
