Neil Reive, one of the archivists at OoPA, has just made available his latest Back in Time Feature, this month it is September 1992. Looking back at gaming magazines from this time period, Britain mags only since that is wher Neil grew up, we discover the demise of Mean Machines (think Gamefan with better writing) and the rise of two new publications from its ashes and a lot more.

We just signed an agreement with Gamefan and will be returning to providing scans of that great magazine for the fans. Releases will be available on PC/Mac, iOS and Android in the near future.
We also are revamping things behind the scenes so that we may be able to release more issues from more publishers in the future (most of the stuff is based on feedback from publishers that just joined our preservation effort).
Out of Print is still around, and still the only place to legally download and keep scans of these great retro magazines. We may be slow in releasing issues but, well, quality takes time and some of these magazines are ROUGH and require a lot of care to restore (we don't just scan and release).
