Doom Night III. Our first opportunity to open fire upon each other. Doom Night III is tentatively planned to be in about a month. (Mid March). It's going to be a Death Match event to remember. No more co-op. Not this time. It's time we stop playing nice, and start finding out who has the guts, and who's guts will be all over the place.

This time around, I'm going to pick a server WAAAY in advance so everyone can test it and download all the necessary files.

I can't stress this enough. As soon as the server is announced, try it. Let me know if there are any problems.

A date has been selected for Doom Night III. The shootout will be held on Friday March 27th at 7pm Eastern US time.

Since this is the first competitive Doom Night let me explain what I have in mind. Strict scores will be recorded here and who ever comes out on top the most, will be declared the Doom Night III champion. That means come early. Get your stuff set up. Know what your doing. Be ready for blood.

In the meantime, I'm constructing a new tab for the website dedicated to Doom Night. All the champions of all the Doom Nights hence forth will be recorded on this website.

That means this, to some extent, is now an informal league. In order for your score to count, I want all players to tell me in this thread if you are coming or not. This will get your name on the score card. The server will still be open to random players, but there scores will not go down in our book.

Men, this is your chance for glory. On March 27th, there is going to be a massacre. Which of us will come out on top?

Apparently on March 10th, a new update for Skulltag came out. All the servers are using the new version so that means, if you want to play in Doom Night III, you got to do it too. Sorry gang. The new version is available here: http://skulltag.net/download/

So how does this mode play? Is it a free-for-all? A team battle? or are we all actually just gonna meet up in a park with guns? Also are there any other game modes?

Count me out for Doom Night III. I'm going to be out of town that weekend. I would have loved to play but I'm visiting one of my friends at this little trip has been pre-planned for a few weeks now. But maybe the Gooch will get off his lazy butt and join you guys.. LOL!!
