Welcome Jungleratrob & Cendoo. The invite certainly remains open. I will on skype that day from 12 - 7pm eastern standerd time. I think we are going to set game time at 2pm eastern, but if you want to jam early, I'll be around.

I could never figure out how to start/host a server, so whats going to happen is we are going to coordinate on skype and just all pile in one of the empty servers that are running. There are a ton of em so that should work just fine.

We will probably play some invasion while we wait for everyone to get online. When we join a server, the name of that server will be posted here in this topic. So you can jump in late and know where we are.

Everyone let me know what you think of the time because I have no problom moving it. 12-7 is a huge time slot. I don't see us playing for 7 hours.

Awesome! That time works just fine for me. I'm in the Mountain time zone and I usually sleep in late, so I might not join in til 2 eastern time.

Were going to be playing Skulltag which requires the doom2.wad file. Essentially its an updated Doom2. See the top post for instructions.

I tried to join the server, but it kept giving me an error telling me to make sure that my wad file was the same version as the server. I had my own copy of doom, so I tried downloading the wad file linked here but that didn't solve the problem.

Doom night was a huge success. Dooshebag, and Gexup got online at twelve at the begining, and the three of us spent about an hour ironing out technical probloms and getting everyone up and running. Also, my older brother came by the house and got on the spare computer, and when things got going, it was a blast. The server was public so average players started to wander in and we ended up with 12 people going at it.

Unfortunelty for me, my in-laws who were supposed to watch my baby son that day bailed on me. People came and went from the server all day, and even though I had my hands too full with the baby to play, I was able to sit in the server and spectate.

Special thanks to Dooshebag, Gexup, Retroman, EnjiBEARatsu, Cendoo, Hemrawc, and lolwut (my brother) for joining the fun. Hopefully next time around I'll get to play too.

You got the short end of the stick with that CF with your inlaws leaving you in a rough situation as well as playing tutor with everybody else getting Skulltag setting up. By the way, I really appreciate you talking me though that.

But you still did a hell of job setting up Doom night!!!! Awesome work! I had an absolute blast playing yesterday!!!!!! We're gonna have to do that again! Perhaps next time we can get more people on Skype at the same time as well.
