Ladies and Gentleman, May I present: The Great Adventure. Powered by microlite20. This topic is the rouster & party sign up so if you plan on showing up and playing a character, make sure you sign up here.

Current Sign Up Status:
(Closed Roster. If you really want to play, I'll let you know if someone drops out. Otherwise, watch for D&D Night 2 for your chance to get in on the action.)
In order to simplify the character creation process, just let me know the race/class combo you want to be and I'll generate your character and have it ready by game time. If you haven't already done so, head over to the microlite20 website and gloss over the basic rules of the game.
In order to keep things simple, we won't be using any virtual game table software as I had previously thought. There is a simple chatroom in a browser which happens to support the rolling of dice. Some advice about picking a character -
If you don't know what your choices are, they are listed in detail in the core rules here: http://www.microlite20.net/node/3
There are four races and four classes. They are:
Races:
Human
Elf
Dwarf
Halfling
Classes:
Fighters
Rogues
Clerics
Magi
For your character, pick one race and one class. Since we want this to be simple, our campaign wont support any bonus material you might find on the internet, and there wont be any dual classes. Sorry. No Half Dwarf half dragon, ninja construction workers.
Pick something that is going to fit your playing style, but make sure you pick classes that will work together as well. If you play all magi or something, your going to get killed quite easy.
Remember. This is a large playing group. I'm planning on making the dungeon quite difficult to match the number of players. Some of you will probably die. Just come have fun and don't take it to seriously.

You can shoot over to the downloads section of the microlite20 page and print yourself a quick reference guide to the rules if you want. (Its one page I believe.) I know a lot of you have never played D&D before. Don't worry about it.
